Hi All,
I have recently installed Linux Mint 10 on a Hp dv6-2001au Notebook. Every thing works fine except "Jack Sense"- i.e Where I am plugging headphones laptop Speakers are not getting muted.Both headphones and speakers are singing at the same time ...
Please help me dear friends.

First you could run
and choose your sound card with F6.
