Jack Sense not working in Hp dv6-2001au

Hi All,
I have recently installed Linux Mint 10 on a Hp dv6-2001au Notebook. Every thing works fine except "Jack Sense"- i.e Where I am plugging headphones laptop Speakers are not getting muted.Both headphones and speakers are singing at the same time :cry: ...

Please help me dear friends. :(

To help we need some information: Please post the output of Terminal:

and

uname -a
Your desktop is Gnome, KDE or?
First you could run

alsamixer
and choose your sound card with F6.
