Converting avi, etc. files to dvd

Post by she-ra » Mon Jan 03, 2011 2:37 am

So awhile back i asked this same question and was given a command for the Devede program and it worked great, but now I've installed the Isadora 9 version, and I tried using that same command, and I can't find the program anywhere on my computer. I'm guessing it doesn't work for Isadora, or did i do something wrong? If someone can help me out again, I would appreciate it. Thanks

Hi,

Is DeVeDe installed already?

You can try to logout & login back

Click the Mint menu button, type devede in the search bar, then on the right click 'Install package devede'.

That is about the best program I've found so far ( mind you I quit looking after I found it).

I think that the best is DVDStyler, "drag & drop" system...and burn it!

+1 for devede, been using it for 3 years, once it is open just drag a file to the right window, adjust the preferences and convert, sorted
