compiz breaks window borders in 11

Post by Electroman6913 »

I just recently installed katya and every time I try to enable features like wobbly windows my window borders go away and the only way I could get them back is by reinstalling the system. Can I still use Compiz or is it done.

ok bro

EASY EASY EASY fix bud. No need to reinstall.

Once you change settings the first time. Compiz creates new config folders.

Restart and then set up the configs in compiz settings manager.

windows boarders, look where my mouse is pointing.

So I installed emerald but when I activate it as the decorator I lose window title bar and borders. Running fresh install with nvidia drivers installed. GTK the borders work fine, compiz effects work fine with GTK, wobbly etc. Cannot get emerald to work. Any ideas?
