can anyone please recommend good video edit software were I can add video's to one video with sound and maybe also some pictures in the video

Though I haven't used it yet, 'KDenlive' seems to be 'the' choice for any video editing shenanigans.

Available in the software centre I believe.

I've only played with Openshot , it looks pretty comprehensive and simple to use. Cinelerra is another,but that has a larger learning curve (one I haven't tried yet as my linux machine isn't up to it. It does remind me a lot of Avid which I use every day.)
