Copy a user profile

Post by Statham »

Hello all,

So I have just installed lm 11. However what I want to do is install a lot of user software like "avant window navigator" setup the user area visuals and then apply my them to another user's profile.

Do you know how to do this without to much pain?

Sorry if the use of the word profile is incorrect as I come from an m$ background and I am trying to learn the new lingo :D

Thanks in advance...

why not just copy

~/.gconf.org/apps/instances/avant-window-navigator
~/.gconf.org/apps/avant-window-navigator
~/.gconf/apps/instances/avant-window-navigator
~/.gconf/apps/avant-window-navigator

to the new user's /home directory?
