Hi,
I'm trying out the new MInt 12 RC at my university which uses a proxy. I can access the internet in firefox by configuring it to use the proxy but I can't find any way of setting a system wide proxy, hence I can't use things like update manager or download proprietary drivers. Any help would be appreciated!

Never mind, I've found it.
For those interested click on your name in the top right corner, then System Settings > Network, then enter the proxy details and hit 'Apply system Wide'.
