Customizing panels in Mint 11

Post by rmcellig »

I created a new panel to run along the top of my monitor. I want to use it to put shortcuts to some web sites and folders, applications I use often. How do I do this? In Ubuntu, I would just drag an item to the panel or create a new launcher.
