[SOLVED] Seeking a Banner package

Post by jbh911 »

I'm looking for a banner package that will produce a horizontal running banner, either as a screen saver or a separate window.
I'm running Linux Mint 11 Gnome.

Is there a list in existance that shows common software names vs Linux package names?

Any suggestions?

:)

You can try this site

http://www.linuxrsp.ru/win-lin-soft/table-eng

or this one

http://wiki.linuxquestions.org/wiki/Lin ... s_software

or even this one

http://www.linux.ie/newusers/alternatives.php

Hopefully one of these will have what you are looking for. If not, Google "Linux equivalents to Windows software" to find many more sources.
