No Wifi Networks Shown

Post by Sixassin »

Hey all I just got done installing LM 11 and i tried to connect to a hotspot and there were no connections available. I verified that my wifi was on and there was no change. Is there another setting somewhere that I am overlooking?

With LXDE, there are 4 options: (1) Click a network icon in the taskbar; (2) Try Preferences/Network Manager; (3) Investigate Go/Network Manager in PCMANFM (probably something similar in Nautilus); (4) Install Wicd Network Manager from Synaptics. One of these generally finds the wifi.
