hi, linux expertises,
I have just installed the linux mint 4.02 with gnome. can I install the kde later on? may it conflict with gnome? how do i install it? should i use the terminal by typying "sudo apt-get install kde" only? Best Regards.

4.02? Anyway, you have to download the KDE iso in order to get KDE installed, as now you can not use APT to install KDE Mint, however I think you can install Kubuntu that way though..
