I downloaded the HTML file for the book Grokking the Gimp. I read in one forum that you are supposed to burn it to a CD to read it. Is there a way to read the HTML file as the book without burning a CD. I really don't want to keep putting a CD in and out every time I want to find something.

You should be able to create a folder in your documents (call it Grok or something) and extract the GIMP file there (it might create it's own subfolder?) and click on the index.html file. You should be able to view it that way without having to burn it to a disk.
