Bug Mint 12: Panel with Desktop Right Click Menu

Post by misfitplanet »

If I right click on an item on the desktop this brings up the usual pop-up menu. If the top of the pop-up menu is just the perfect height to reach to the top of the screen, the top item falls under the translucent panel. It is very difficult to choose the top item in the pop-up men, because the panel and the top menu item are vying to be the active window.

You can use the arrow keys & enter to select menu items.

Ok, thanks for the workaround suggestion.

BTW, after the update, I no longer can right click on the desktop. No menu at all now. But, the pop-up menu still gets slid under the panel in other apps too creating the same issue.
