I do not have this problem. Maybe you should try with a new clean user account?

Does this crashing happen at any particular website, or is it completely random?

open firefox using a terminal. Make it crash and report the error here. Without this, guessing your problem is useless.
If it ain't broke, fix it until it is.

This message is not relevant. It appears also if I start Firefox from terminal and my Firefox is not crashing.

Try to use

Code: Select all

firefox &
to keep more messages maybe.

You need to run it just after Cinnamon crashed.

No. Open terminal and type like this:

Code: Select all

sudo adduser your-new-account-here
here you need to answer few questions... and
after that you can login in new user account and try if you have same problems. Maybe this can help you.
