Edit Movies

Post by jhouse59 »

I've bought a VCR/DVD recorder. To record my home movies that are on VHS tapes. I want a software that will let me edit my home videos. So I can add music and pictures to my movies. Can anyone tell me of software that will let me edit movies? I'm looking for something like "Windows Movie Maker".

I'd use the dvd recorder to edit rather than the computer. No software needed, no crashes or lock ups.

Thanks. Kdenlive looks like a great program. I'm using Mint 5 (Elyssa). With the GNOME desktop. I've went to their web site. It says it's for KDE. Do you know if it will work with GNOME?

Most KDE apps work in Gnome, just it loads their libraries on top of Gnome, so it slows down your pc a bit, but I wouldn't be too concerned (only while you run that app)

@ Husse

No problem. First time I've helped you :D
