Does this exist as a .deb? If so could it be installed in Gnome to make a xfce session with most of the Mint XFCE stuff intact? I have installed the xfce4 desktop from synaptic onto the new 64 bit community release and love it. But I'm sure I am missing some mintyness, so to speak.. Let me say that if the user interface of the 64 bit seemed snappy with Gnome, it is stupidly responsive in xfce. Merlwiz has ruined me and I prefer xfce to Gnome..
-thanks!

Yes it's in the download on this page:

You should remove any packages that doesn't say all.

Re: xfcemint-desktop
Well most of them say i386 which is 32bit.
I guess it won't let you install those so you won't be able to install xfcemint-desktop.
I can't make 64bit packages since I don't have the 64bit computer to do it on.

Re: xfcemint-desktop
Looks like the python apps can be used on the 64bit system.
I'll rebuild the packages to use all instead of i386.
This will at least give you the mint apps.

Re: xfcemint-desktop
I have two installable test partitions on my amd64 laptop. I'm game for testing this combo.
