you may have to move both SDB5 & SDB6 to the left - into that free space,
so that the free space in now between SDB6 & SDB7 if you wish to merge it into SDB7 ( /home )
then extend SDB7 to the left & into that < new > free space.

The fact your free space isn't adjacent to the partitions you want to add it to makes things a bit cumbersome...

Here's what I would do....
- BACKUP EVERYTHING THAT'S IMPORTANT.
- In Windows**, "grow" sdb5 (ntfs) into the free space preceding it.
- Again in Windows, shrink (on right side) sdb5 by the amount you want to add to the other partitions (sdb6&7).
Then you'll have

Code: Select all

sdb4 = ntfs = OS_Install (unchanged)
sdb5 = ntfs
Free space
sdb6
sdb7
Then with the liveUSB you do something similar for sdb6&7: grow 6 (or move it) left into the free space, leaving some free space after it to add to sdb7; then "grow" sdb7 into that space.

**In Windows because it's supposedly safer to modify ntfs partitions with proprietary Windows tools.

Your data and OS are backed up....right?
