How to adjust light settings?

Post by pointyblue »

Hi,

Im new to this incredibly cool looking distro and have just installed in on a Packard Bell EasyNote laptop. Everything seems to work as it should but I need to adjust the light of the screen as the default installation is way too dark - I can't use it in normal daylight. How do I adjust the intensity of the light?

(I don't have this problem in Ubuntu or XP on the same machine...)

:)

If your PC supports it, you can right click on the panel>choose "Add to panel">Brightness Applet.
