Error Messages When Upgrading to Rosa

Trying to upgrade two computers, getting the same errors:

W: Failed to fetch http://packages.linuxmint.com/dists/rosa/InRelease

W: Failed to fetch http://extra.linuxmint.com/dists/rosa/InRelease

W: Failed to fetch http://packages.linuxmint.com/dists/rosa/Release.gpg Unable to connect to packages.linuxmint.com:http: [IP: 68.235.39.11 80]

W: Failed to fetch http://extra.linuxmint.com/dists/rosa/Release.gpg Unable to connect to extra.linuxmint.com:http: [IP: 68.235.39.11 80]

W: Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

Are there other repositories that should be used somehow? Extra.linuxmint.com never seems to work even in current distro. Just hangs the upgrader. Thanks

What are you upgrading from?

Open your Update Manager, click on Edit, Software Sources, give password, click on Maintenance, Fix MergeList Problems and then Update your cache.

Looks like I spoke too soon. This is the error message I'm getting:

Failed to fetch http://packages.linuxmint.com/dists/rosa/InRelease
Failed to fetch http://extra.linuxmint.com/dists/rosa/InRelease
Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

The upgrade did not succeed. Make sure you are connected to the internet and try to upgrade again.

You might have to repeat the procedure in Maintenance.

There have been a few update problems recently so, I would also change your download mirror and then update the cache again.

17.1 Rebecca. I've tried a couple different mirrors, same results, and on several different computers. So maybe it is a Mint or mirror problem. My system is up-to-date for Rebecca, so I'll wait a few weeks and try again. I don't feel any burning need to upgrade, but would like to try to stay fairly current. Thx
