Anyidea on how to install this? Would makes sense to be part of distrobution since mint claims elegance.

The Murrine engine is installed by default. You can always check by opening synaptic (package manager) and searching for it. The package is "gtk2-engines-murrine". There is also a "murrine-themes" package that contains (you guessed it) more murrine themes.
