Greetings from an older-ish user.

Post by JohnBobSmith » Sun Aug 21, 2016 2:50 am

Hello everyone. It has been a very, very long time since I posted anything here I just wanted to say hi. :)

I'm currently using Arch Linux exclusively, have been for a while now... But I wanted to stop by here and visit the boards of my very first distro, Linux Mint. When I first joined I was using Mint 15. I'm pleased to see that Mint has progressed leaps and bounds with the release of Mint 18 :). Unfortunately, I don't see myself installing it. Arch Linux is my home now. But I wanted to say hi, and to remember my roots, so to speak.

Does anyone remember me? XD

Namaste, and I'm sorry but I only just started using this forum since March of this year. I'm sure you're welcome here just the same. :)

I do!
I would have started with Mint about the time you moved over to Arch, so granted, you probably don't remember me at all. :)

But I remember seeing you here (and, of course, on the Arch forums.)

PS. several of us use Arch either as our main distro or on the side.

Fred, that is something I had not thought of. People using both Mint/Arch together in some way. Pierre, I might have to drop by more often. :).

I'm going to browse around the forums and see what there is to see. :D
