I'm slowly plowing through it and learning a lot. This 1300 page tome has close to 300 pages on the shell, in addition to just about anything else you'd want to know about Ubuntu (or its derivatives, like Mint).

At least four chapters on shell commands and utilities:
Chapter 5: The Shell - 33 pages
Chapter 7: The Linux Utilities - 61 pages
Chapter 9: The Bourne Again Shell (bash) - 95 pages
Chapter28: Programming the Bourne Again Shell (bash) - 100 pages

Clear explanations with lots of examples. Get the fourth edition published in 2015 (third was published in 2011).

Linux Phrasebook, Essential codes and commands (second edition) by Scott Granneman. It looks good and has some useful things. I very seldom use terminal.
