Clem,
There are numerous errors in the .xsession-errors file
(cinnamon:3228): St-WARNING **: Ignoring length property that isn't a number

to show a few.
Nemo seems to have a problem does mintupdate.
I was kinda hoping that by posting these errors someone in dev might take a look and see if they can be eliminated.
The above text is not against the dev's or anyone associated with Cinnamon, just a note so Cinnamon can be and even more polished DE.
Thanks for reading. At least I hope Clem did... lol

I'm not noticing any bug/failure/crash of any kind but syslog messages and user.log are growing until my hdd is full... A bit annoying

And here we are in September with the same issue. Perhaps the Dev's and Clem should review the .xsession-erors file from time to time.

If your systems functions well, why would this bother you? Usually, entries in .xsession-errors are quite innocent.

What they said ... it's common in Linux to have messages that look like Armageddon just happened but they're benign ... and I sure as hell hope Clem has better things to do than read this thread  .

I don't believe you guys. They are errors. IF innocuous then don't issue them. For christsake, they are errors. Get over your selff-righteousness about whether Clem should read the posting.
You guys sound like Arch users with all your indignity of someone raising an issue.

I thought they were Gtk-WARNINGs?
I could be mistaken, tho.

EDIT:
A quick search in google shows them in Debian

I wouldn't mind if it didn't took 50gb of log file on my drive! (and that's just in a few days...)

That definitely is an issue. I would recommend first that the steps in section 15 of this page https://sites.google.com/site/easylinuxtipsproject/bugs

Then post a new thread in whatever section above the "Chat" section you feel is relevant since this area of the board is not meant for support.
