x1.5 for Desktop scaling not x2 (Surface Pro 2) [Solved]

Settings - General - User Interface Scaling - "Double"
is too big, how do I get x1.5 or custom scale please (need it for Surface Pro 2 mod) happy to use command line

You did not provide any system information: Mint version and desktop environment. If you don't know open a terminal and enter:

inxi -Sz
Paste the output here.

Besides that: Most likely the answer is: you have only those 2 choices.
