Gimp 2.6 still has separate windows
I upgraded to gimp 2.6.3 on Felicia, and much to my dismay, the windows are still separate entities. It doesn't seem to be a gimp bug as the Windows version works fine. Is this because of some config files I failed to delete? Is this a known problem? If so, is it fixable, or have the gimp team just crippled the Linux version?

No, but you can disable the side windows, since everything is reachable from the main window now.

Yes, but I find having the toolbars there a hell of a lot easier. I'm a Photoshop emigrant really. Is there a version of gimpshop that equals 2.6?
