PS3 controller via USB

Post by Guest »

Hey I am trying to play some of my games on wine with my spare PS3 controller. I searched on here and found nothing about it so I wanted to post some questions. First off, the controller is recognized by linux I assume from this:

: $ lsusb
Bus 007 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 006 Device 003: ID 054c:0268 Sony Corp. Batoh Device
Bus 006 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 005 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 003 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 004 Device 003: ID 05a9:2640 OmniVision Technologies, Inc.
Bus 004 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
:

It is now connected I assume but it does not have any function besides charging. What would I need to get this up and working with wine. I tried googling it and came to a few posts about how to make it wireless and a .c file to download and compile but when I type in the command given in the file to start the compile it says the directory is not found. The name of the file is "sixpair.c"
