Frostwire doesn't connect

Post by ceti »

Hi, I'm running Mint 2.2, no Beryl.
Today I installed Frostwire. The status says "Starting Connection", but never connects.
I run Guarddog firewall, but Frostwire always worked on other systems.
Could it be Frostwire is down, like Limewire?
What P2P alternatives do I have, since Apollon doesn't work either?

Cheers

Thanks, nick.

Actually, the problem was the Guarddog firewall. I disabled it and Frostwire connects fine now.

On the other hand, I had no luck with gtk-gnutella: it didn't run at all.

Cheers
