NATIONality Game
Hello everyone!
Just to get some open chat going amongst this awesome community.
Let's share your nationality and the nation you live in. (As of course these can be different).
I promise you I won't stalk and I don't work for Microsoft.
Could be interesting to see the different mixes, I love seeing people from all around the world come together with a good common interest (Linux and in this case, Linux Mint).
I am also impressed how good the English is of the people who have English as their second language.
Me: English (born in the UK)
Live in Australia (best country in the world!**)
** this may be false.

Re: NATIONality Game
I am a citizen and resident of the United States. For several reasons, I am not completely happy with that situation, but I don't see any way to change it in the near future.

USA, and I like it here, except for the politics. As a young man, I served in the military, stationed in Europe, Fulda, West Germany ( that should give you an idea how long ago that was ) Visited Denmark, Austria, while I was there, it was very beautiful. I loved the 3 years I spent there. It gave me a whole new perspective.

Nation of birth: USA
Nation of residence: Texas
Nation of residence: Texas
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they ain't.
Re: NATIONality Game
slipstick not sure how many folks "get it" but while serving in the US Army with lots of Texans (great people and even better soldiers) it brought a smile to my face. Although unauthorized, sometimes on deployment I observed that few soldiers would have the Texas flag on their uniform where typically one wore the American flag. The Texas spirit is contagious! As I've learned from years of experience... I'm going to keep tight-lipped about which nation I live in and where I was born*, but I will say that I love it (or them) and I'm proud to be part of it - wouldn't give up my citizenship for anything! I'll gladly claim the title of patriot. Go #RedWhite&Blue!
* Those who remember my old avatar will have a clue about at least one nation I've spent time in.

I doubt it'll get locked, unless I've offended someone by talking about nationalities?Lucap wrote:London , England

If so, I apologize. Just want to get some conversations going in this community.
Re: NATIONality Game
As long as it doesn't turn on a nationality war, it won't get locked. There is no reasons why we would lock it.
