I notice that time passes very quickly

Post by Skynet_83 »

From a time until now, I notice that time passes very quickly. Since the day does not last for 24 hours. Like the other goes very fast and I very slowly. As the day lasts only 3 hours of the before. I also have a jet lag that I do not know what to do. I'm more active at night than day. I do not understand anything...

Why?

Sorry because this topic has nothing to do with linux.

Psychological issues can turn you into a night owl. Unresolved issues, something that plays on your mind and you feel you can't solve.

Any conflict/negative stuff in life you mull on a lot without solution.

Dr Sam is in da house
Like the other goes very fast and I very slowly
Dis is an acute case of old fart syndrome, welcome to the club, an hour only last a minute but it takes you ten times longer to reach the bathroom and hope it stays in until you get there.
As far as unresolved issues goes, at this point in your life the only unresolved issue you should worry about from now on is that day you forgot to get depends and it took to long to reach the bathroom in a public place, other then that it's too late to worry about stuff now, just enjoy watching time fly in high speed while you move in reverse.

I'm in my 60s and stopped worrying about things a long time ago.
I thank The Lord for every new day that I have on this good old planet earth.
I'm enjoying being an "OLD FART".

Happy New Year. :)

Our chemistry teacher once told us why time appears to speed up

From the day of your birth till your first birthday, that's your whole life right there
From your 1st b/day to your 2nd b/day is only half of your life
from your 2nd b/day to your 3rd b/day is only 1 third of your life

and so on, every year you live a smaller fraction of your life :)

Which is peculiar because we just added an extra second due the planet slowing down, you'd expect time to be dragging a little bit by now.....

One day I had to go to the Mall with my Girlfriend. I sat down while she did her shopping. While I was sitting there I saw 3 very attractive girls looking my way and smiling. I thought "Man, Im still a good catch I guess!". Well, Then one walked over to me. She was beautiful. Blue eyes, Blond hair, Great smile. Anyways, She walked up to me and said "Excuse me sir, Can you tell me what time it is?".

Right there I realized I was getting old.

One of the things that always makes me laugh to myself is that when your old you get to watch others go thru the same things that you went thru. Its interesting to see how they handle these situations. If you give them advice they always seem to have the opinion of "What does this old man know?". Well, Every now and again when someone does take my advice (because I have been there before) I think to myself "There goes a smart person".

Time flies like an arrow.
But fruit flies like a banana.

This thread reminds me of the Al Stewart song "Time Passages." I guess the fact that I know this song means I'm old also. :?
