is that an APPLE OS X and Linux mint type desktop there? i am wondering how you get it to be like that...also iam what apps you are running on ur desktop...right

now iam trying to figure out how to use BERYL but i have no idea how to even start configuring anythnig....also any neat gadgets anyone can suggest something like Google Desktop or w/e my desktop is in need of something more eye catching...its so bland atm...

Also i was wondering how i can put two different wallpapers on the two desktop spaces that i have enabled so far...like i.e on the first desktop i have one wallpaper and then when i switch spaces i wanna be able to see another wallpaper...can i do that?

yes it's something like brushed osx theme... for it I use aiglx/compiz, screenlets (those things on the right) and Avant-Window-Navigator (the dock bar)

to setting up compiz follow this http://www.go-compiz.org/index.php?title=Ubuntu_Installation_Guide
for aiglx it depends on the video card you own
awn you have to install it from svn (http://code.google.com/p/avant-window-navigator/)... I don't know if it's in treviño's repo

about the diffent wallpapers I have no idea :/

Hello Everyone,
:) Here's mine, and I'm all happy with the Eye-Candy that Mint is, and Beryl brings to it. I thought this looked awesome!!!!, I redid it in an actual mint theme so to speak. As you can see, I am having a blast playing with this

Hmm, are you sure they are medieval babes? And not Mint Bianca and her friends?
