Edit: How do you get OpenOffice to have white pages instead of the dark grey? When I open OpenOffice Writer with a dark theme enabled the page is dark grey instead of white. I figured you would probably know the answer because you seem quite skilled with dark themes.

Edit 2: I figured it out!

Sorry Exlpoder, it is Format then page then background. But I see you found it. I ave not been on for a bit.

Here is my current Mint-desktop. Fairly minimalistic, but I like it. :)

Which theme are you using for your screenshot?

EDIT: That was for mmesantos1.
The GTK theme is Overglossed Black 0.2.

I have completed my theme. GTK Theme: Overglossed Black 0.2, Icon Theme: Combined Hydroxygen & Mashup Alt 3.3. Wallpaper Dark Blue. With the icons I tokk my favorite from each but primarily it is Hydroxygen. I used the Configure Hydroxygen Tool first then replaced the icons from Mashup that I wanted in place of the Hydroygen ones. I must say it was fun learning how to customize a theme but mu ultimate goal is to one day make my own! :) If any one has any experience in making a Gnome theme I would gladly take any pointers on how to start.

clemerson wrote:mmesantos1, I like the icons, especially the ones that are sitting on the desktop. I tried the Hydroxygen theme a while back and found that my small icons (mostly in menus and system tray) were pretty blurry. Do you have that issue? I had better luck with the straight Oxygen-refit icons.

Here's my current desk.
- random wallpaper I found online and thought was funny
- gtk and metacity themes with almost as few gradients as possible!
- ubuntu studio icon set
- trying conky, I'm not sure if I'll keep it since I don't like much clutter on the desktop
- I have the gnome main menu set as my right-click menu (this is possible with compiz)
- custom gnome-panel background image - I really like tint2 but it doesn't totally get along with compiz

Click the thumbnail for link to Picasa web album page - clean and messy screenshots.
Yes I do seem to have the same issue they are a little blurry but not so bad I would change the icon theme. I guess I never really paid attention to it because its not to bad. And nice job on your desktop theme! :)

Holy crap, The red icon theme I made and Automotive Red with that wallpaper looks great together. I thought it was the red GTK theme I made for a second though.

Edit: Thanks for downloading my icon theme :)

My new March theme.

Wallpaper, Reve d'orient available on gnome-look
icons, oxygen2 refit green, available on gnome-look
Emerald theme, ddragons glossy green, available on beryl-look
Firefox theme, green fox from addons.mozilla.org
GTK2+ theme, carbonmine, gnome-look

And I figured out how to give the menu bar a touch of transparency too so the final rose didnt get chopped.

I'm sorry, I didn't remember who had made the icon theme  Thank you for making it for me to enjoy ^__^

So many of the dark GTK2 themes I can't use because the text windows are boxes are black. It's so painful to read and the themes are locked so I can't customise the text boxes to lighten them up. I lose more themes that way  :( The Ghostly themes are perfect examples, such beautiful themes but black text boxes, they're so hard on my eyes. My eyes aren't as young as my heart is. Won't someone think of the adults?

well it's fluxbox, so simple, and I think the water goes well with the black and white default look
