Re: Mint 18.1 from official cd to vergin pc (incapable to instal)
Did the PC come with a pre-installed OS? If so which one?

IGNORE THIS POST I don't usually see the GRUB version of the Live Session, which does have 4 options.
"on start the pc give 4 opzions...when try to charge version x64 (second option)" This is not normal, not 'official'. A standard Mint ISO... linuxmint-18.2-xfce-64bit.iso ...boots with six options...

- Start Linux Mint
Start in compatibility mode
OEM install
Integrity check
Memory test
Boot from local drive

Memory test I have done... all ok.
How I must do to start in compatible mode?
And to OEM intall?
Sorry for my ignorance.

Re: Mint 18.1 from official cd to vergin pc (incapable to instal)
Why my files to attach are all too large?

@ Giamma267
Seems your budget Asirox Orion computer is only available in Italy. The limit here for image attachment is only 100kB. Try typing out the screen error message.
Normally, we boot the Live Linux DVD to start a Live session as a test-drive, especially to check for hardware incompatibility. Then we click "Install Linux" icon on the Live desktop. This will kick off the installation process and open the Install Wizard.

Likely, you were given a faulty DVD. Normally, Linux Mint DVD that are sold come in 2 DVDs, one for 32bit and the other for 64bit. So, you may need to get a new one. I make my own Live Linux DVD or USB-stick.Giamma257 wrote:.

Other Live USB burner programs are Rufus, unetbootin, Universal USB Installer/pendrivelinux, USB Image Writer, etc.
....... ISO DVD burner programs are Imgburn(for Windows), Brasero, xfburn, k3b, etc.

@ bradon
It is not normal for a Live Linux DVD to require kernels to be loaded. Better get a new one.
