WIRELESS - Blinking Light, Unable to Surf Wireless

Post by unclatino »

Unsuccessfully trying to enable wireless connection. Wireless card blinks, but Wicd cannot find it. It uses the Broadcom card built-in, but also have a D-Link USB Wireless cards that Wicd cannot find either!

Have already done the following,
1. Installed bcm43xx-fwcutter through Synaptic
2. Check marked "Connect to Wireless Networks" on the User Settings profile.
3. Check marked "Wireless Connections" (now grey-out) under Network Settings. For some reason, can't Unblock the Network Settings now.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for any help in advance

You could run mintWifi to see if it's using the correct networking interface(eth wlan).
Or try Network from the system menu.
