Atheros Bluetooth/Blueman No Adapters found

Post by dimspace »

Hey all. First post after lurking for a while.

Recently made the fulltime move to linux, prior linux use was way back in the days when RedHat came on 8 cd's.

Anyway.. borked bluetooth

The problem i was initially having was connecting a bluetooth speaker to the machine. It would find the speaker, connect, but then drop the connection about 10 seconds later. Did loads of digging, tried various suggested solutions.. the long and the short of it, i made it worse

Current situation is, if I look under devices in Blueman I get..

heres all the various bits and bobs that im guessing will be useful/..

I probably should have posted with the initial problem but was having way more fun wandering around the forums trying various solutions..

Along the way I did manage to learn how to connect to ethernet from terminal in recovery mode and reinstall cinnamon (dont even ask)
