First of all: Sorry for my bad English.
I had been an Ubuntu Unity user since 2013 (after 20 years of MS; still using MS a little in another desktop). I like Ubuntu but the future Gnome Shell is not a way to go, I think. I did search for another distro, and Mint Cinnamon is the one I had chosen. Very beautiful, solid and stable. I'm using it on a Samsung notebook 670Z.
I'm an end user, looking for productivity. I'm History teacher and hope to learn many good things in the Mint Cinnamon world.
It is a pleasure to be part of the Mint Community!
Best regards.
