Windows Network: Unable to mount location (Firewall) [SOLVED]

Post by WISEGUYTR »

Whenever I try to browse Windows Network I have a dialogue box stating "windows network unable to mount location".

As I have the Firewall enabled, I have to add a rule to allow browsing (Windows) work. But I have no idea what to write. I have tried adding the common Samba lines but it still does not allow me to browse it.

Desktop: Cinnamon 3.4.6 (Gtk 3.18.9-1ubuntu3.3) dm: lightdm Distro: Linux Mint 18.2 Sonya

I am experiencing the same issue...I cannot access Windows networked computers until I turn off my firewall.
