I am running:
- Lenovo Thinkpad T560
- Linux Mint 18.3 Mate
- 4.10.0-40-generic #44~16.04.1-Ubuntu SMP
- Filesystem = ext4 (except for swap)
Although I do not use Btrfs filesystems at all, each boot process is interrupted for a couple of seconds to scan for Btrfs filesystems. In the boot.log the following message is found (I have masked the number of files and blocks):
This may not be a very urgent issue, but I wonder if it is not possible to automatically drop this scan, when no Btrfs filesystem is used? As an alternative could you please let me know, how to manually disable this scan in a way that does not conflict with future kernel and OS updates?Scanning for Btrfs filesystems
/dev/sda5: clean, .../... files, .../... blocks
Thanks & Regards
Tom
