I just wonder :
Is Power-Control in Start Up-Programs
Needed to use (Mark with X).

On a Stationary PC.

(Not a Lab-top)

What is your version of Mint and what is the desktop environment? If you don't know open a terminal and enter:

Code: Select all

inxi -Sz

Paste the output here.

I don't see something like that here for Cinnamon (any version).

In LMDE2 the command is, possibly, mate-power-preferences

You can find many more desktop launchers in the /usr/share/applications/ folder. Right-click a launcher to look at the Properties and the GNU command it uses as a 'back-end'.
