Hello again

Post by Mac291 »

Hello Everyone,

Been here before but planning on sticking to it this time :? I'm in sunny Florida, deciding whether to stay put or not. Installed Sylvia (32b, Cinnamon) on an old
laptop and planning on installing 64b on my pc. I use multiple OS's on separate hard drives I insert in a tray.

Anyway, looking for how to post some specs (of my pc) but I don't find what I'd call a 'signature' anywhere in my profile section. I'll keep looking. Nice to be back.

Cheers,

Mac

User Control Panel -> Profile -> Edit Signature

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they ain't.

Welcome to the forum Mac291,
Stick around a while--
You can post specs of your system by opening a terminal and entering or copy/paste the following:
inxi -Fxz
Then copy/paste those results when needing support. The code button looks like </> and is the 5th button from the right,
click that once and paste the results there.
Light travels faster than sound.
That's why some people appear smart until you hear what they are saying.
