Mint: LAMP: Dedicated IP Address

Post by DeadRinger »

OK so bare with me.

I have 18.3 Cinnamon 64 running on a PC.
I need a webserver to host my website.
I would like to install LAMP.
I would like to set it up so I have a "dedicated IP address" to that website on the LAMP server.

Can this be done? I see lots of discussion on getting LAMP on Cinnamon, so looks like that is answered... But I don't currently know enough about setting up IP addresses.

Why?
I have a SSL cert for my website on a 3rd party host, but I also need to have a dedicated IP to get Google off my back for insecure website.
Yes I can pay the 3rd party host to do this, BUT I hate paying shit for stuff that I can get for free.
