After twenty years using Windows as my primary desktop operating system, I have migrated to Linux Mint.
Here is my story...
I was up for my usual middle-of-the-night fluid level adjustment break and noticed a glowing light emanating from my office. I looked in to see whether I left a light on and saw that the computer screen was glowing brightly with the familiar color of the “blue screen of death”...

Re: Saved by Linux Mint
Nice write up dpbaril,
I enjoyed it all, and you are quite accomplished with your networking, etc...
I looked at XnView and started the download immediately when I saw what it could do.
I, also, a big huge fan if IrFanView... that is the only image editor that I use on Windows, as it is the fastest there is, and the easiest to make quick changes and post them on the web....
Never owned a V-Strom, my rides have been the Yamaha dirt bikes of the early '70s and then later I switched over to Honda Goldwings.... an '84, '86, '94 GL1500, '98 GL1500 and now my '2002 GL1800
Have a nice day, and thanks for the intro.
John
