As a tip: you can use Synaptic Package Manager to completely uninstall a program without needing to know the packages.dreamtraveler wrote: ⤴Wed Jun 20, 2018 4:29 pm Hi,

In the box next to Search, type in Thunderbird. The ones with a green box in the list are the ones that are installed. Right-click each one and choose Mark for Complete Removal. Some may show a popup window to show that there are other packages associated with Thunderbird to let you know those will also be uninstalled (that's fine). When all are Marked for Complete Removal, click Apply at the top.
Re: Preinstalled packages of Thunderbird on 18.3 Cinnamon
The unanswered question raises whether dreamtraveler wants to know the Thunderbird package names
+ in order to purge Thunderbird completely (i.e. has not been done, yet), or
+ because he would like to re-install Thunderbird (removal has been done already)?
If the goal is complete removal, then JerryF's advice applies.
If the goal is re-installation, then the posted package names might be helpful.
Another unanswered question, which no-one has asked so far, might be: which problem may make it necessary to purge Thunderbird from the system? - I find it hard to think of any.
