Who needs TimeShift?

Post by HaMi »

"TimeShift - System Restore feature in Linux Mint
TimeShift for Linux is a application that provides functionality similar to the System Restore feature in Windows and theTime Machine tool in Mac OS.
TimeShift protects your system by taking incremental snapshots of the file system at regular intervals. These snapshots can be restored later to bring your system to the exact state it was in at the time when the snapshot was taken."

I don't understand this Windows-copy in Mint 19.

Far better to have a restore file and never need it, as opposed to vice versa.

One reason can be that gksu has removed, which probably causes a massive sudo abuse.

You do. You just don't know it yet.
