i've the latest cinammon mint but my laptop freezes often when on chromium

While I don't use chromium, here is what I would try:

1. Disable all extensions. If it still freezes, it might be a driver issue. See if there are updated drivers offered in Driver Manager.
2. Slowly add back the extensions with plenty of testing in between each. When it starts freezing again, you'll hopefully know which extension is the culprit.
3. Remove the offending extension, and continue with step 2 to make sure there aren't any more causing trouble.

If you want chrome install google chrome. I have tried chromium in the past had the same issue. Remove chromium than go to

I use ublock origin instead of adblock plus ever since converting to linux and have been quite pleased with the results.
