[SOLVED] Error parsing PCC subspaces from PCCT. Can't fix it

Post by 03927e9c »

Hello. I have LM 18.3 64bits been using it with no problems and all of a sudden I can't delete folders or files. I can browse on Firefox but I can't to favorites any page. I couln't see the updates window, it wouldn't appear. So I reboot and then I get this message. I tried running boot-repair on a live USB but it didn't fix it. I have Windows 7 installed on the same disk and I can use it so I'm guessin it must be only on the LM partition.
I didn't do anything, didn't change any configuration. It's really wierd that all of a sudden I get this error. I tried searching about it but I can't find a proper way to fix it.
I didn't change anything about nVidia drivers or anything like that. The only thing is that I installed the latest official updates but they were leve 1 and 2 but that was a day before this happens and I did shut down and re started my computer several times after and it worked perfectly.

Code: Select all

BusyBox v1.22.1 (Ubuntu 1:1.22.0-15ubuntu1) built-in shell (as)

Any help would be appreciated, thanks a lot!

Boot in recovery mode to launch a filesystem check. From the grub menu select Advanced Options > LM recovery mode entry.

Hi thanks for the message.

I tried that and I get (among others lines)

Code: Select all

dev/sda5 contains a file sytem with errors, check forced
Unexpected inconsistency; run fsck manualy
Failure: File system check of the root filesystem failed
The root fileystem on dev/sda5 requires a manual fsck
And when I try tu run the fsck command I get

Code: Select all

fsck from util-linux 2.27.1

From the recovery menu select Drop to the root shell prompt to run a filesystem check manually as suggested by previous output:

Code: Select all

fsck -f -y -v /dev/sda5
When done to exit the shell enter:

Code: Select all

exit
