Hurricane Michael

Post by Portreve » Wed Oct 10, 2018 3:31 am

Hurricane Michael is beating down upon the Florida panhandle coat.

Weather.com: Michael Strengthens to an 'Extremely Dangerous' Category 4 Hurricane

Is everyone here safe? How many LMF members are going to be affected by this storm?

Though I don't wish harm upon anyone, I am glad not to get hit again like last year.

Just some bands of rain and gusts up to 40 mph in the Tampa Bay area.

A category 4 hurricane could be devastating to the panhandle. That would be the strongest storm to ever hit that area.

Hope those that decided to ride out the storm will be OK.

Fortunately for most of us west coaters, all we got were intermittent gusts of wind. Glad to hear Tampa is safe.
