Alright, I'll make it a quick one.
I'm head over heels with Linux Mint, there's no way I'm going back to Windows. My problem is it freezes when I open up Sublime Text to write some code. Never right away, but within an hour or two. My question for that matter is two-fold:
1) How do I fix this?
2) Is the Inspiron a good laptop for Linux?

if it's freezing after an Hour or so, then that may be an Power Save issue,
- or an screen_saver issue - - check both in Control Center.
as a General Rule, those Hp Inspiron machine, do seem to work with Linux Systems,
but the real issue, is often with the hardware customisation that the manufacturers often seem to do,,
& the HP company is one of the worst, when it comes to customisation of their machines.

It might be helpful to others if you document how you fixed it.
