Is Lastpass having problems or under attack?[Solved]
I'm unable to login to Lastpass today. Message: "An error occurred while attempting to contact the server. Please check your Internet connection.". True in Chromium, Chrome and Firefox. Anyone else?

Problems with mine too. Has happened before. Usually goes away after a while. You might try clearing Lastpass cache by going to left click icon and choose more options>advanced>clear cache.
Re: Is Lastpass having problems or under attack?
I just checked mine and no apparent problems or issues. Linux Mint 19 Cinnamon and using Google Chrome. Every now and then I will get that same error and it usually goes away...but for now no issues for me.
Be patient. If you have not done so yet..clear cache, run update manager and maybe reboot.

I have had that happen occasionally, usually related to a burp in the internet being available for me, which causes the LastPass server to be inaccessible.
( I am experiencing extreme ISP outages, the monitor trapped 27 outages on Sunday alone )
I just exit Firefox, wait until I hear the UptimeNetworkMonitor give me the Audible Beep that the internet has returned, then I start up Firefox, and LastPass is just fine.

this is only instance that I can remember having a problem with LastPass in about 20 years of using them.
that makes this an extremely rare event.

Netuptimemonitor looks like a very useful utility, especially if you're having intermittent connection problems. Too bad it only works on Windows. If it worked on Linux I'd buy it in a New York Minute.AZgl1500 wrote: ⤴Tue Nov 20, 2018 11:25 pm

uh huh, that is my Win7 Pro desktop in the office.... oh well, I just turn up the volume on that Win7 machine loud enough to hear it in the living room where we watch TV.
