Thanks! Helped a lot. I couldn't get OOo installed from Adept/Synaptic at all and your instructions worked like a charm. I appreciate you taking the time to post.

Super how to :) Good instructions. I followed them and all is ok!

One thing only: the quick starter doesn't go. It is impossible to click it in the options menu...

Somebody an answer?
