Hi guys, having a trouble getting kweather to launch. I've downloaded it via terminal but after that I haven't had luck locating it in MENU or in Widgets. Anyone successfully have it installed and running that could offer some help?

From what I can find kweather does not work in Kubuntu 8.10 and Mint 6 KDE CE is based on that one
Don't know why it is in the repositories if it does not work
Seems you should look up plasmoids - there is one for weather
Or you could do like I do and add a weather add on to Firefox - there are several (I use the one from weather.com)

Thanks husse for the help on that.. sucks that it doesn't work on kde since it appears to look nice. I'll take your advice and look into those you mentioned. Thanks again.
