Hi jazznerd! Welcome to the forum! Here's a link for the A-Z Index Command Line for Linux. https://ss64.com/bash/
There are also several tutorials on YouTube as well, so you may want to check those out too. Here's a good article to start with on basic terminal commands.

Hope it helps and good luck!

Hi jazznerd and welcome to the forum. For learning the command line, I recommend this book which is available in a free pdf download:
http://linuxcommand.org/tlcl.php
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they ain't.

Welcome to the wonderful world of Linux Mint and its excellent forum!
thanks phd21 ,
(i've been failing to install any other Linux distros on my Macbook Pro 2010 due to dual graphics GPU. NVIDIA + Intel)
But Linux Mint installed on dual boot OSX/Linux without any GPU related problems.
So far so good - it just works!
