on freshly installed Mint 18.1 MATE edition on Macbook Pro 15" 2010 ( Nvidia + Intel GPU )
hope to find info and help on learning Linux command line to dig deeper under the GUI

(i've been failing to install any other Linux distros on my Macbook Pro 2010 due to dual graphics GPU. NVIDIA + Intel)
But Linux Mint installed on dual boot OSX/Linux without any GPU related problems.
So far so good - it just works!
